We're Reginald and Dave—two guys who spent years in the trades before getting into software.
Reginald ran a 6-person plumbing crew for 11 years. Dave did HVAC for 8 years before teaching himself to code. We met at a contractor meetup complaining about the same thing: QuickBooks is great for accounting, but it's useless when you're actually out on a job.
The expensive software (ServiceTitan, etc.) is built for big companies with dedicated office staff. The cheap stuff doesn't sync properly with QuickBooks. So we decided to build what we wished existed—a simple mobile app that just works.
We're not a big company. It's just us, building this in the evenings and weekends. That's why we need early access testers—we want to build something people actually use, not something we think people want.
